Apostolos Paraskevas
(Director, Editor, Composer, Writer, Producer, Executive Producer, Sound Editor, Actor)
a Grammy-nominated composer and guitarist. "I Finally Did It" is his first film as a director/writer and his second as an actor. He worked in the past with Director Mathew Tucciarone in the film "Da Capo."
He wrote music for the Theater and the cinema along with a vast body of orchestral and chamber music. Classical Guitar Magazine/London acknowledged him as the only guitarist ever to have a major orchestral piece performed at New York's Carnegie Hall and the international press as the only musician who performed there in a Grim Reaper's outfit!
Apostolos is a Grammy Award Nominee, published and recording artist. Major publishers: Centaur and Bridge Records, Santerrelle Verlag/Germany, Berben/Italy, Clear Note, and PaNas/Greece.
He received five First Prizes in International Composition Competitions. He is the founder and the Artistic Director of the International Guitar Congress/Corfu. Major performances with Lukas Foss at Carnegie Hall/New York, Weill Hall/New York, Wertheim Performing Arts Center/Miami, Jordan Hall/Boston, St. Petersburg, Hall/Russia, Athens Concert Hall/ Greece.
He is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music.
Mathew Tucciarone
(Director, Editor, Cinematographer/DP, Digital Effects, Sound Editor/Mixer)
an impassioned filmmaker, made his directorial debut with the short film "Da Capo" which was an Official Selection of the Washington, D.C Independent Film Festival in March 2009.
He has studied and practiced a variety of artforms such as graphic design, photography, and now film. Mathew is currently wrapping up his Bachelor's Degree of Science in Film and Video Production. His goal is to capture authentic human interaction as well as intellect through narrative and documentary film, to convey emotions that will inspire his audiences.
One of his biggest inspirations is music, and he continues to routinely work with musicians in a live performance and music video setting.
"I Finally Did It" marks the second collaboration with Filmmaker/Composer Apostolos Paraskevas, a film that Mathew co-directed and edited with Apostolos in the summer of 2009.
